JOB POSITION: HEAVY DUTY MECHANIC

EQUIPMENT USED: I am currently working on a FLEET OF CATERPILLAR DUMP TRUCKS MODEL 777F, 777D AND 785C.

DUTIES PERFORMED

* Calculating & verifying the estimated parts required for repair.

* Fault finding on machines and brake down repairs.

* Ensuring the correct specialist tools are used to carry out repairs.

•Carried all type of services as 250 hours, 500 hours, 1000 hours and 2000 hours according to the services sheet.

•Inspect machines for wear, tear and maintenance needs.

•Removed damaged and malfunctioning parts for replacement.

•Completed scheduled maintenance.

•Installed new parts and repaired components.

•Component change out such as engine, transmission, torque, convertors and final drives

•Change of hoist cylinders and steering cylinders.

•Disassemble and assemble of radiators.

EQUIPMENT USED: KOMATSU HD 785 AND HD 1500 DUMP TRUCKS.
