Major Functions and Responsibilities: Supervises conduct of Field Extension Activities /Programs like Leadership and Capability Enhancement Trainings for Farmers and Cooperative Leaders in the Coconut Industry; Provide Technical Services to Farmers on Crop Production, Intercropping, Crop Protection and Value-Adding Activities(Crop Processing)
Adjudged as Outstanding Agriculturist in 2005 when I prepared a Feasibility Study on Village Level Coconut Oil Production and helped and led the establishment of it thru a funding from the National Agriculture and Fishery Council.
Designated as ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER of the Coconut Intercropping Program funded thru the AURORA INTEGRATED AREA DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (AIADP), a foreign-funded (EEC) integrated area development program in Aurora. I helped in the formulation and implementation of a credit scheme for coconut farmers to encourage intercropping of their coconut farms.
Also designated as ASSISTANT PROJECT OPERATION MANAGER (APOM) of the Aurora Province Coconut Development Center, a 133-hectare research and production center in Dinalungan, Aurora funded thru the Agriculture and Fishery Modernization Act (AFMA). As APOM I have had direct hand in the establishment of coconut plantations in the area showcasing various varieties of coconut.
