1. TVS Motor Company, India: Aug’ 12 to Aug ‘15

Position: Senior Quality Engineer Dept.: Supplier Quality Assurance Responsibilities included Quality Control and Quality Assurance functions for the vendor manufactured parts to help achieve the quality levels at the production line and reduce warranty complaints.

Responsible for the quality of 330 components supplied by 44 Suppliers categorized under Forming, Fabrication, Plastic molding and Proprietary parts.

Planning and supervising the adequacy and adherence to the Annual inspection plan.

Solving complex quality issues at the Vendor process level using SPC tools (eg: QC Story approach, DMAIC, Fishbone, PDCA/SDCA cycles).

Conduct periodic System and Process audits and evaluate Vendor performance at manufacturing plants as per TS 16949 and QMS requirements.

Responsible for Vendor parts PPAP verification process from QC point of view for the new product – Scooty Zest, witnessing SPTR trials. 2013~14

Reduced vendor parts rejection rate from 1.5% to 0.40%.
