Highlights/Accomplishments:

Implemented a Total Health Management system for Wyoming which saved $15M per year and was the first to have a pay for performance contract and independent third party verification of cost avoidance.

Drafted legislation and designed and implemented new reimbursement methodologies for Medicaid hospitals and nursing facilities which saved $14.5M in the first year .

Designed and implemented a Quality Improvement Process for Colorado that saved $20M over 5 years.

Established an Informal Reconsideration Process which settled over 50 lawsuits and allowed reallocation of 19 FTE which saved $10M and funded a scanning and optical disk system to eliminate rooms of legal files.

Eliminated multi-part forms and created a laser printer based forms design and printing system which saved $5M per year and is still in place in Colorado.

Designed online courses, assignments, updated curriculum, and changed lab and learning modules for Hospital and Health Care Services Degree program. Taught classroom and online classes for the program.
