University of Southern California (USC) – Los Angeles, CA Master of Science, Chemical Engineering – 3.22 GPA – (2015)

National Central University (NCU) – Taoyuan, Taiwan Master of Science, Chemical & Material Engineering – 3.5 GPA – (2010)

Chung Yung Christian University (CYCU) – Taoyuan, Taiwan Bachelor of Science, Chemical Engineering – 3.5 GPA – (2007)

Leadership Opportunities:

Dean’s Master Fellowship (Department of Chemical Engineering, USC) (2013 – 2014)

Research Assistantship (Department of Chemical Engineering, NCU) (2008 – 2009)

Teaching Assistantship Fellowships (Department of Chemical Engineering,NCU) (2007 – 2008)

Selected Projects:

Run to Run Control in Copper Plating (2005 – 2006)

Designed and utilized a run to run control situated in the thickness of copper plating – effectively adjusting the reaction temperature, plating time and power supply (voltage and electric current). Scratch Resistant Zeolite Anti Reflective Coating (Master Thesis) (2011)

Authored a thesis on scratch resistant zeolite anti reflective coating, recognized as the first author to write about subjects related to Solar Energy Materials and Solar Cells. Selected Job History

USC

Solid State Processing and Integrated Circuits Laboratory Member Aug 2014 – Dec 2014 Accurately analyzed the entire fabrication process in transforming bare wafers into integrated circuits. Skillfully completed all fabrication processes – from the initial bare silicon wafer to multi step metallization – effectively creating integrated circuits with a resistor, PN diode, capacitor and MOSFETs. NANO – Material Lab – NCU

Research Assistant Jul 2007 – Jul 2010

Created a vacuum evaporation pre concentrating step prior to the low temp hydrothermal, synthesizing BEA and MFI zeolite coating sols via a sol gel process. Transformed the MFI zeolite coating sols to BEA zeolite coating sols in an effort to expand the band of reflectance spectra from the AR film to reach the minimum reflectance of 0.052%. Used an updated ratio of precursor sol and BEA zeolite nanocrystal sol (diluted blended precursor sol and BEA zeolite sol with EtOH) to increase AR film ASTM scratch pencil hardness to 6H after reacting with HMDS. Chimei Innolux Corporation

Senior Engineer, Department of Thin Film II Feb 2012 – Aug 2012 Skillfully resolved an issue which occurred during the production process for optical coatings – specifically related to uniformity, color and scratch problems. Accurately monitored CVD, PVD and ELA production lines, and improved process capabilities for the TFT LCD production line. Utilized SPC, statistic methods and data analysis to improve manufacturing processes – effectively increasing the yield rate to 90%.
