SKILLS & ABILITIES
I have been trained as a Toshiba Applications super user and instructor. I have experience with GE and Toshiba CT units. I also have training in both Interventional Radiography, and Cardiac Cath Lab. This training also includes Reading some EKG rhythms. I am also trained in Emergency Medical Technology and in I.V. therapy. Also I am certified to do Breathe/Blood Alcohol tests and Drug Screening.

I worked as a Cat Scan and Radiologic Technologist within the Diagnostic Imaging department doing Radiology and Cat Scan. Did mostly emergency room and in-patient examinations as order by medical staff. My primary shift was working weekends 7pm to 7am Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Position ended due to misdiagnosis.

I was working as a Temporary Manager for Cat Scan and Non-Ancillary Services Department. My primary duties to create a plan to help departments retain employees, due to constant turnovers. After completion of this plan, I worked on budgeting, capital equipment, training and employee schedules, as well as payroll. I also scanned patients, started I.V.’s for both in patient, outpatient and emergency patients. We scanned approximately 5 to 10 patients daily.

I was responsible for training Cat Scan department on the new Toshiba scanner purchased by the hospital. I also worked as a night shift CT Technologist, our Department averaged between 20 and 30 patients on our shifts and most of these patients came from the emergency room and ICU units.
