Position: Senior Project Engineer

Involved in project commissioning, FAT and SAT process involving DeltaV SIS marshalling and basic process control system installations. Directly reporting to Lead engineer and closely working with other process engineers and technicians to addressed issues and concerns in order that deadlines are met. My current duties involves but not limited to the implementation of FAT, generate IO loop check, Network redundancy and Power check reports, actual revising and checking of master documents, also involved in Graphics modifications, dynamic linking and internal testing of faceplates and dynamos.

Key accomplishment:

•Successfully completed the first hardware Factory Acceptance testing (FAT) involving DeltaV SIS marshalling for Emerson Singapore. Achieved deadlines and customer satisfaction in the height of delivery delays and document revisions.

•Consistently completed graphic formulation project with remote Australian counterparts and have effectively established a valuable rapport with other counterpart of the business thus having been awarded some projects were mostly other project engineers were involved.

Acknowledge as a Certified Associate SIS Software Engineer by Emerson and have approved FAT documents involving SIS hardware configuration involved in Process Control Systems.

Position: Principal Software Test Engineer

Effectively managed 8 engineers and 2 trainees as a Supervisor / Assistant manager for the test department. Executed DeltaV hardware and software testing for versions 6.3 to 12.3 involving all Bussed technologies (Fieldbus, HART, Profibus, DeviceNet, ASI), Batch Process, Asset Management Suite, Executive Portal, and DeltaV Analyze . My duties involve handling resource allocation, test scope planning, test plan reviews, test plan creation, test plan execution, validation and verification on top of project management, coaching and mentoring.

Key accomplishment:

•Part of the group that underwent in-depth testing integration in Austin Texas. This resulted in acquiring more knowledge on how to test hardware Busses (HART, Fielbus, Profibus, ASi) in DeltaV.

•Acknowledge as a Certified Tester Foundation Level by the Malaysian Software Testing Board, this certification increased the credibility of our group and have level us with the other seasoned testers in our field.

•Certified Asset Management Suite tester and have acquired in depth training and certification in several areas of DeltaV namely Batch Implementation, Graphics design and implementation, Advance Control, Hardware Implementation and Hardware troubleshooting.

Efficiently worked with customers in different time zones such as NALA, EMA and AP end users. Effective in providing investigation and resolutions for issues then logging / reporting it in the Support Management System (SMS) for proper documentation. Tasked to train newly hired engineers supporting the different DeltaV bussed technologies (HART and Fieldbus).

Key accomplishment:

•One of the pioneers of the Global Support Engineering Manila and have helped in making its foundation firmed in the field of DeltaV I/O busses and Asset Management Suite – AMS support.

•Trained in Emerson UK for advance call handling during the transition of calls from UK to Manila. Showed confidence during the transition and have successfully transferred all calls to Manila without any issues.

•Recognized for an excellent support provided to Lakeside Controls, a Local Business Partner in North America on their AMS licensing issue.
