Designed, developed the SOLAR Billing Accounts Receivable Process. I had to research the root cause in

prepare the impact analysis and propose the best approach and solution to handle this. I also separated the

Financial Month End Process

Designed and developed the Financial Month End Process for a newly acquired Business which involves

research on finding out the best approach to integrate the Acquired Company's ledger to our ledger. This

involved detailed assessment of each product the company owns and creating our interface to capture the

month end feeds. And was involved in finding the appropriate earned and unearned calculations and how

they can be reported to the ledger. Also most of the systems were on different platforms, used informatica

to read the file and load it into our repository to validate.

Outsource Billing/Medicare Claims System

Worked in the design and requirement mapping of outsourcing our in house Billing/Claims system. This

included communication with the Vendors, involving in RFPs, Scoping phase, Requirement mapping to

technical design and solution design of the project. Also my responsibilities included to train the

developers with the technical specifications and assist them through put the complete life cycle of the

project.

Medicare Supplement Part A Claims

Designed and developed a system, which automated the process of adjudicating/approving Medicare

claims and printing checks and explanation of benefits (EOBs). This replaced the legacy system which

involved manual intervention. This also included file transmission from Mutual of Omaha that follows

the HIPAA rules. This project was done using Oracle forms, reports, PL/SQL stored procedures,

packages and triggers. Batch jobs were scheduled under two different OS, VAX/VMS and Windows NT.

SQL Loader was used to load input files from 3rd party agents.

interface tool.
