RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
Thesis Title: USRP based channel sounding January 2016 - December 2016
Worked on the data transmission using Universal Software Radio Peripheral (USRP).Calculated the Bit Error Rates from the data that was received at the receiver. Was responsible for implementing Software Defined Radio (SDR) over air interface
My research work kick started from installing the GRC which took around 11 hours. Conducted on site wireless signal measurement to determine the changes in the BER at different interference levels
Implemented the benchmark tool to transmit and receive data streams and calculate the Bit and packet error for different modulation schemes. We have done this at different environments to analyze the effect of fading characteristics on the data received
Research Assistant August 2015 - December 2015
Worked on device to device (D2D) communication systems which enables direct communication between nearby mobiles
My research also includes work on Proximity Services (ProSe) outlined in 3GPP Release 12
Research Assistant January 2015 - April2015
Partnered with team on Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR). A successful SAR image was created by successive pulses of radio waves being illuminated on target and the echo of each pulse was then received and recorded. We adjusted the antenna around 20 mt to effectively capture images of objects within 200 mt range
CERTIFICATIONS
Certification in Long Term Evolution (LTE) Networks August 2016
Successfully cleared the Cognitel certification for Long Term Evolution Networks. The certification provided me to gain an overview on evolution, protocols, architectures of the LTE networks

Area of Emphasis – Communications
ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Volte sequence diagram generation using visual ether protocol analyzer May 2016
Analyzed the sequence diagrams of the Volte originated call from an I-phone. A Wireshark PCAP file is converted into a sequence diagram
The TCP/UDP messages are added from the Wireshark to the Visual Ether FXT editor which prompts the analyzer to generate the sequence diagram based on the information given in the editor
Performance of 802.11g and ZigBee Network April 2015
Created an environment that has an Access Point (AP) and 3 individual nodes that are connected by LAN.Analyzed the global and individual throughputs of the above network by disabling the AP and disabling different active nodes
Achieved greater throughput values when the traffic was less in the network
Introduction to MIMO Systems May 2015
Explained importance of Alamouti transmit diversity scheme, leading to the concept of Space Time Block Codes which is only full rate scheme for two transmit antennas. Generated BER to compare different systems
Image Blur Reduction via Adaptive Tonal Correction December 2014
Reduced the blurriness of image when captured in cell-phone due to hand-shakes via tonal correction
Developed tonal correction approach to be adaptive to the scene by taking into consideration brightness and contrast of blurred image
