HOSPITAL AND UNIVERSITY ACTIVITY
After December 2004, we joined the department of Internal Medicine at the hospital of Sahloul for 1 year and 4 months until the official opening of Nephrology Department of Sahloul’s University Hospital.
With the official opening of the department of Nephrology, Dialysis and Renal Transplantation in November 2006, we have actively participated in the start-up of the new department: initially nephrology clinic and hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and finally kidney transplantation.
We provide semiology education.
We provide jugular central catheters establishment.
We provide plasma exchange sessions.
We carry out regular kidney biopsies.
We participate in scientific production of the department: research and publications.
We actively participate in various educational seminars and postgraduate education: organized by the Faculty of Medicine of Sousse.
We provide education module of Nephrology in 4th and 5th year at the faculty of medicine.
