Summary of Qualifications:

I currently hold my Texas Property and Casualty and Life and Health Insurance Licenses. As such, my extensive knowledge of risk management plays a vital role proper management of resources weather human or otherwise. I have an expansive knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of software as well as various Internet/Cloud based rating software bundles.

I am currently an Owner / Account Executive with The CMS Insurance Agency in Cypress, Texas for the last 5 years. My role in the agency is to provide risk management consultation for our clients weather Personal, Commercial and/or Farm and Ranch in nature. Other duties are management in nature. I handled all incoming and outgoing financial transactions as well as any Human Resources actions that are needed.

Prior to the CMS Agency, I held a position for 2 years as a Producer for The Barhorst Agency in Houston, Texas. As a Producer, I was responsible for generating quotes, proposals and issuing new business as well as cross-selling additional new lines of business to current clients.

Prior to The Barhorst Agency I held a position for 6 years as a Customer Service Representative/Account Manager with HUB International Insurance, a large personal lines agency in Houston, Texas. I was responsible for servicing and reviewing annually an existing book of business. I also worked with an Account Executive to generate quotes and proposals. Cross selling additional new lines of business for a dedicated group of clients was also done based on the annual review of the client’s portfolio of coverage’s.

Concurrent to my duties as a CSR or Account Manager for Personal Lines accounts I was also the single Farm and Ranch Agent or contact for our office. My duties included gaining and maintaining relationships with Agribusiness or Farm and Ranch carriers including South and Western General Agency, Tejas American Agency, Fireman’s Fund and Rain and Hail Insurance Companies.
