Objective

With a diverse background in civil engineering for water utilities, I am prepared to manage a wide array of projects with varied scopes and budgets. Having performed as a general contractor, consultant, field engineer, and project manager with a California PE, my perspective allows me to coordinate with multiple entities and continually increase my knowledge. Golden State Water Company, Santa Fe Springs, California Project Engineer II, Capital Program Management – October 2010 – Present Manage construction of water system improvement projects. Coordinate closely with engineering team, field operations and outside contractors to deliver water supply, treatment, and pipeline projects for privately owned water utility. Involved in all phases, from planning and bidding through construction and commissioning. Expense and asset tracking with PowerPlant and JDEdwards accounting software. Assistant Engineer II- September 2005 – March 2008 Design, field engineering, and inspection for infrastructure upgrades and land development. Projects included 4S Ranch water, wastewater and reclaimed water, Olivenhain Dam Ammonia Injection, and (Santa Margarita MWD) Upper Chiquita Reservoir.

Project Engineer - April 2004 – September 2005

On site Project Engineer during construction of potable water treatment facilities including Alvarado Water Treatment Plant in La Mesa, CA (San Diego MWD - $110M), and Hemet Water Filtration Plant (Eastern MWD). Processed submittals, RFI's, subcontractor invoices and other documents, and procured materials and equipment for our field crews.

Structural design and drafting for multifamily and custom single family homes. Extensive use of AutoCAD and structural calculation software, preparation of plans, and construction inspection.
