PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
ENGINEER 1996 - 2014 IRAQ MINISTRY OF OIL/OIL PRODUCTS DISTRIBUTION CO. BAGHDAD, IRAQ Appointed Director of Civil Projects Division in 2010, and Director of Construction and Civil Engineering Departments in 2012. Served as Project Manager for several distinguished construction projects including facilities for the Iraqi National Olympic Committee. Instrumental in the design and technical advisory phases of numerous, notable civil engineering projects throughout central Iraq over the course of nearly 2 decades. Recipient of several promotions throughout multiple regimes and periods of political instability. Project based work has included multiple fuel storage facilities, distribution centers, pipelines, flammable materials suppression systems, and Company headquarters. Adept with utilizing AutoCAD to visualize and design projects and their interrelated component parts. Named to the committee created to vet potential partners for SOMO, Iraq’s Oil Marketing Company.
