Professional Career:

2003 – Current:

I am currently employed as the Health Centre Attendant at Beaconhills College, Berwick Campus. My duties include administering first aid to all sick/injured students, staff & visitors, maintaining both hard & electronic copies of all incidents, co-ordinating student & staff vaccinations, stock control of all medical supplies & equipment, lost property and various other administration duties.

1994 -2003:

I was employed as a Gaming Supervisor at the Tooradin & District Sports Club where I was the supervisor of a number of staff performing duties involving all aspects of hospitality, gaming, training of new staff and cash settlement at the end of shifts. During my employment I received Certificates of Excellence in customer service from Tabcorp representatives.

1999 – Cranbourne Aged Care: I worked as a Registered Nurse Div. 2 for 6 months

1988 -1995:

For 7 years I held the position of Registered Nurse Div. 2 at Koo Wee Rup Hospital. (now Westernport Memorial Hospital). During this time I worked in medical, surgical, post natal and aged care departments, as well as participating in a facilitating team that assisted all sections of the Hospital.

1982 – 1984:

I was employed at the Stawell District Hospital working in areas of medical, surgical, midwifery, outpatients/emergency and aged care. I resigned in 1984 to begin my family.

1981: Graduated as a Registered Nurse Div. 2 at Maryborough & District Hospital and was retained to work there for a further year until marriage in 1982.

Personal Interests:

I have always been a keen participant in many sports including tennis, netball, cricket and golf and later with the administration and running of clubs. I have held Vice President & Secretary positions with tennis, cricket and golf clubs. Other interests include reading, cooking, gardening, music & movies.
