1994 1995 Fabricator/Welder Cormack Ltd Cambuslang

Employed as a Welder/Fabricator working on a variety of different projects including angle iron framework both on mild steel and stainless steel, using MIG, electric arc, Oxy acetylene and TIG welding, 1.2 mm,butt and fillit welds, to complete jobs. Trained to read CAD drawings and I also have 48hrs,3.5: 5mm tested training in T.I.G. welding. Also fully qualified to operate bandsaw up to 20mms thickness mild steel and can use bench drills,vices and all associated welding tools to complete tasks as required to a high standard to fit customer requirements.

Worked within a busy ship building yard where my duties included, preparation of weld surfaces for tradesman, slag removal post welding, angle grinding and any other associated ad hoc tasks. Keeping work area clear to avoid accidents.

Employed as a security guard for a number of employers on short term contracts including, Vital UK, Monarch and Major Security where my duties included, being flexible to move between contracts, guarding of premises and property, completion of logs, issuing of guest badges, site monitoring, car park logging and supervision. Worked as part of a team sharing duties to enable satisfactory completion of tasks on a variety of shifts throughout a twenty four hour period.
