April 2009 – December 2011 – NHS Professionals Healthcare Company, Head of Locum Services Division –

UK and Ireland

I worked for a Healthcare organisation, which offers direct recruitment support to the NHS. The business function is to integrate locum doctors into the NHS healthcare Trusts, PCT’s and Deanery’s across the UK. Owned by the DOH, we also provide Nursing, A&C and AHP’s to the NHS

I have turned around an ailing division, with less than £28k GP on spot business per month, to £62k GP per month

I have also instigated a project for overseas recruitment, bringing several large Trusts back on board, through strong negotiations and working alongside the Trusts and Deanery’s to improve the services offered to the NHS

To work closely with the NHS Trusts Medical Staffing, Procurement and HR departments, looking at reducing costs and helping to implement new Government and Clinical Governance changes as quickly and effectively as possible.

Developing a new division: General Practitioner’s across the UK, becoming a one-stop service to the NHS.

I took over the commercial division in April 00, and currently working on various large tenders for sole and preferred supply
