Worked with a team of seven other student coordinators to organize, plan, and implement a children’s Halloween golf event for 60 participants as part of an event planning course
Lead the Marketing committee in designing and setting up a website for the event and a registration form for the participants
Designed and posted flyers around town to market the event and get as many participants needed
Gained knowledge of sponsorship, logistics, marketing, risk management, and working in a team environment for special events
Developed different activities that included both a Halloween and golf aspect that allowed the children to learn about golf techniques, skills, and safety
Created surveys for participants to fill out after event in order to complete a program evaluation
Collected donations from thirteen different companies and organizations through our sponsorship efforts totally to $1,250
