Performed requirement and Data Analysis, investigated on the existing Data Warehouse and Designed new data warehouse application. Developed and supported Data Warehousing Application for Foster Parents Plan. Using COGNOS IMPROMPTU, I designed and developed unique and easy maintainable catalog (Data Model) for entire organization. Also using COGNOS POWEPLAY transformer, I designed and created all required cubes (Multi Dimensional Cube) and major reports for departments. In the production environment I designed and developed all SQL stored procedures, COGNOS macros and VB programs to automate full process of ETL, building cubes, generating special reports and transferring from backroom to the front. I was able to increase the production performance more than %60.
Designed and developed new reports and data cubes for Ministry of Health (seven GTA Community Care Access Centers). Conducted data analysis, identified problems weaknesses of existing data warehouse application and prepared an automation plan. Developed all required scripts to automat full process of ETL, building cubes and transferring to the clients’ sites. Using VB, Windows and SQL Server Job Scheduler and other tools to automate complete process, decreased processing time from 48 hours per week to 18 hours.
Designed and developed Data Warehouse Application of Ministry of Health (COTA Service provider for MOH) including Catalog, IMR Reports and MDC, and automated full process from ETL to transferring results to the client’s sites.
Upgraded the NYGH’s MEDPHARM and COTA “Ordering system” to meet Y2K compliance
