DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF PEDAL POWERED HACKSAW MACHINE:

This project deals with the design and fabrication of pedal powered hacksaw setup .The aim of our project work is to develop a modernized operation for cutting wood and plastic materials. It is very useful for cutting wood and PVC materials. It can be used widely in lathe and in furniture making industries. Since the manual effort by cutting through pedaling a wheel is much lower than cutting by hand. The principle of pedal power hacksaw is to change circulatory motion or cycling motion into reciprocating motion with the help of metal connecting rod. If we use dynamo then we can produce electricity which is stored in a storage battery which will help in lighting the work piece area when electricity is not available in mechanical workshop.

M.Tech Project:

SIMULATION ANALYSIS OF PROTON EXCHANGE MEMBRANE FUEL CELL (PEMFC) BY USING COMPUTATIONAL FLUID DYNAMICS:

Inspite of much work has been described on the analysis of proton exchange membrane fuel cells considering different parameters, the analysis considering the parameters such as oxygen consumption, water production, temperature distribution, ohmic losses, anode water activity, cathode over-potential. The present work includes,

The utilization of a three dimensional CFD model to analyze the temperature distribution.

The calculation of the temperature distribuition within the computational domain considering different orientation of the proton exchange membrane fuel cells obtained using different parameters.

The model allows parallel computing, thus making it practical to perform well-resolved simulations for large computational domains, these numerical results can be useful.
