Research Assistant with Dr. Pascale Charest, 2014-Present University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ

Investigated how the target of rapamycin complex 2 (TORC2) regulates cancer cell migration. Used lentiviral delivery of shRNA to knockdown TORC2 components, examined the effect of growth factors on TORC2 activity by western blot, and visualized cell migration using confocal microscopy. Tested the effect of troglitazone on retinoic acid metabolism using HPLC, cellular adhesion using a spectroscopy based assay, proliferation using an ELISA based assay, and used flow cytometry to determine what integrins were expressed in response to retinoic acid in human K562 cells.
