Vice President Retail Credit Risk Policy & Systems, (Brazil), 2014-2016

Head of the Decision Systems Department (team of 10) managing the day-to-day bank-wide credit risk systems, along with various budget and resource responsibilities. Additional key responsibility of assessing and proposing a bank-wide business plan to fix all obstacles which hindered frequent, systemic, expedient credit risk policy changes from being implemented.

The business plan resulted in a nimble credit risk architecture with speed-to-market capabilities for frequent changes; better risk controls and data integrity; alignment of country credit risk systems to corporate: architectural systems, business and IT standards and practices.

Designed and implemented solutions for the entire bank’s system architecture surrounding new business and account management.

Defined all requirements to implement multi-million-dollar / multi-year business plan.

Developed a deployment schedule to maximize return on the project’s investment while minimizing impacts to overall project timeline and costs (gain as you go).
