THESIS OF M.Ch. :- scalp reconstruction: conventional techniques v/s tissue expansion

Professional experience & special interest:-

Worked in department of plastic surgery, patna medical college, patna for 5 years as junior resident( post graduate trainee). At PMCH there is a huge load of burn, post burn deformity & trauma cases. So got enough opportunity to manage such cases independently & operating for skin grafting, local flaps, maxillofacial trauma, tendon & vessel repair, burn contractures release & other post burn deformities. At PMCH, in OPD there is a good no. of cases of congenital anomalies like cleft lip, cleft palate, hypospadias, syndactyly & I have operated a fair no. of such cases with good results. On the cosmetic surgery front I have got fair amount of experience with Nd:yag laser & IPL for treatment of melasma, nevus of ota, tattoo removal, other pigmented lesion & hair removal. I have assisted few cases of rhinoplasty, augmentation & reduction mammoplasty, & hair transplantation also.

Special interest:- cosmetic & microvascular surgery
