As a Matrimonial Paralegal, my role is based on Divorce matter and monitoring deadline of the payment from the clients (i.e cost and disbursements to be paid by client). Assisting to lawyer-in-charge, monitoring the Court scheduled, deadline and prepared the Interim Bills/Final Bills & Consultation Bills which is familiar with Lexis Affinity. As a Litigation Secretary, i am doing general e-filling via E-litigation (i.e Writ of Summons, Defence, setdown for trial & notice of discontinuance). Preparing Court documents for solicitor attend to trial. I am also preparing bills (i.e cost and disbursements of the e-filling) and doing closing file if the case was settled.

As a Secretary, I have to assist to boss, to produce correspondence, booking rooms and conference facilities, attending meetings, taking minutes and keeping notes, managing and maintaining budgets as well as invoicing, liaising with staff in other departments and with external contacts, register the seminar for boss, ordering and maintaining stationery and equipment, sorting and distributing incoming post and organising and sending outgoing post, liaising with colleagues and external contacts to book travel and accommodation, organising and storing paperwork, documents and photocopying and printing various document and sometime on behalf of other colleagues. I was also preparing the legal documents for lawyers’ attended to Court and providing good communication skills to liaise with clients.
