DISTRICT MANAGER REGIONAL MANAGER

More than 5 years of multi-unit leadership experience in the retail

industry as a top district manager with Dollar Tree and Family Dollar

overseeing up to 22 stores at a time. Recognized as a turnaround

one, and drove them to unprecedented heights. Proficient in every aspect

of retail including customer service, operations, inventory, and team

building.

DOLLAR TREE

Turned around 3 different districts in NC, SC, and GA after a quick

DISTRICT MANAGER - Atlanta, GA (up to 17 stores and $29M in sales) Jul

2015 - Present

Selected to turn around a broken district in Atlanta after success in

Myrtle Beach and Raleigh. This district had struggled with 4 different

district managers in the previous 3 years. Sales were in decline, shrink

was very high, standards were weak, turnover was high, staffing levels were

low, and morale was poor.

> Turned around this high-volume, inner-city district - led it from 4th

to 3rd in the region (12 districts).

> Drove the district's average comp sales performance to +2.9% over LY.

> Surpassed the sales budget virtually every month - averaged 107% of

plan.

expectations.

> Drove internal operational audit scores from the low 60s to

consistently in the high 70s.

> Received a regional award for outstanding overall performance by a

district manager in 2015.

> Identified as a high-potential manager in the company by regional and

zone vice presidents.

full-time; 20 part-time).

> Mentored 6 other district managers in the region since 2013; currently

training a new DM.

> Opened 3 new stores and converted a Family Dollar - completed every

project on time and budget.

> Served on the DM Advisory Board; co-developed shrink guidelines that

rolled out company-wide.

> Designed several new reports/spreadsheets that were adopted by other

districts.

> Rated as "consistently exceeds expectations" on the performance

evaluation (March 2016).

DISTRICT MANAGER - Myrtle Beach, SC (up to 15 stores and $22M in sales)

May 2014 - Jul 2015

Selected to replace a long-term DM in Myrtle Beach after success in

Raleigh. These stores were producing strong results but had significant

opportunities for improvement in store standards, operations, inventory

management, and merchandising. This district had been ignored by the

sales and key metrics.

budget of 1.88%.

> Achieved significant reductions in supply costs and general liability

claims.

> Developed and promoted 3 store managers and 24 assistant managers (6

full-time; 18 part-time).

> Remodeled and expanded 2 stores - easily beat new targets with

increases of 100%+ over LY.

These challenging stores had not been meeting company standards for

several years - stock levels were extremely low, inventory shrink was out

of control, customer service scores were poor, and communication/morale was

weak.

> Quickly turned the district around, achieving considerable improvement

in all performance metrics.

> Drove customer satisfaction survey scores to 1st overall in the region

(12 districts).

> Cut inventory shrink to less than half - led the district from 4.03%

to 1.87% in just 1 year.

> Opened 5 new locations - completed every project on schedule and

within payroll budget.
