Project Manager for the NDT Inspection/QA/QC of the construction of Blue Scope steels Production Plant in Southern Vietnam plus the NDT/QA/QC of the construction, installation and comissioning of BP's onshore/offshore Pipeline and Slugcatcher in Southern Vietnam.

Responsible for the Operational side of Inspection and Maintenance, Rentals i.e. Drill pipe, Hevi-waite, Collars, Stabilizers, Roller Reamers, Hole Openers, Line Pipe, Jars, slips, tongs, Elevators, Jars, motors etc. Ensuring tools are delivered on time and in the appropriate condition { This includes performing QA/QC checks on all equipment coming and going, to and from rigs and writing reports on them with photographs to provide to customers incase of invoicing problems}. Customer liaison, attending drilling programme meetings, internal training, setting up QA/QC, HSE programmes. Over seeing Directional Drilling. Coring, tubular running and completion services. Ensuring tools meet relevant inspection criteria e.g., TH Hill Cats 3-5, 4 and 5, API RP 7G { and the new API RP7G 2}, NS-2 { I hold updated copies of all above specifications}. Writing Storage, Maintenance and inspection procedures for all tools Conducting periodic checks on stored equipment to ensure tool conditions are not deteriorating e.g. Storage compound checks, internal and external conditions of paints and coating for corrosion monitoring, protector condition. Present at load outs and returns to check equipment is properly packed and loaded to ensure minimum damage to tools on shipping i.e. proper slings, containers are used. Conducting Audits on Inspection and threading companies to ensure they are complying to appropriate SOP’s. Familiar and well versed on all rotary shoulder connections such as all the API range, Grand Prideco range and NKK range and familiar with their re-cut procedures. Conducting meetings and audits with third party monitoring companies to make sure we comply with all relevant procedures. Auditing potential suppliers and Inspection companies that we would use for overspill purposes. Also well versed and have a good knowledge of Tubing test strings with their maintenance and inspection procedures.
