Integration Functional design and Implementation

Lafarge Cement, UK has different systems functional for shipment consolidation, Vehicle scheduling, vehicle tracking, and Rebate. The systems used are, VAS for shipment consolidation, TFP for Vehicle Scheduling, TTT for Vehicle tracking and Evolve Rebate system for Rebate management system. All these systems needed to be integrated with ERP JD Edward Ver. 9.0.

Architecture designing between two Legacy systems and Middleware called WebMethod.

Functional Specification Design with detail mapping between two systems.

Identifying and Analysing the gaps during development and resolving in concurrence with the Source and target system owners.

1)Project : Inventory Integrity & Control: -

Item Ledger/Account Integrity

The inventory balance fluctuates with manufacturing, purchasing, sales, & inventory transactions. Any time this occurs a corresponding journal entry should reflect change in the general ledger inventory account. The item ledger/Account integrity (R41543) report will print discrepancies between the item ledger (F4111) and Account ledger (F0911) tables.

The profile includes running this report on scheduled dates.

Analysing the integrity issues between item ledger & accounts ledger.

Analysing the report and system, non-genuine errors from the report.

Scale down of the original report to only genuine errors and circulating the same to all the subsidiaries. Suggesting correctives for integrity issues.

Item balance /Ledger Integrity Report

The purpose of this report is to compare the current on hand balance and inventory valuation of an item to cumulative quantity and cost of all transactions that have occurred. The report identifies the discrepancies between the two so that necessary changes can be made to resolve.

2)Project:-Monitoring Open sales orders in E1: -

Monitoring the sales orders in E1 for all the subsidiaries on a daily basis

Correcting the orders that have gone in to error due to one or other reason while the sales order flow. This will ensure that correct entries are posted in the sales/inventory and finance tables.

Ensuring that all the orders are closed in the correct financial period thus reflecting accurate sales figures.

3)Project:-TMS PQ support for Implementation – ONSITE(DENMARK)

Transport Management System (TMS) was an in-house developed system for warehouse, where E1 was integrated to an third party called INET. INET was further integrated to carries. The data from Enterprise One was sent to INET. INET in turn would reformat the data as per carrier’s requirement and sent it to the carrier’s.

4)Project:- 3rd Level Support - ONSITE(DENMARK)

Providing support to 19 countries in different time zones.

5)Project:- AS-IS Study for Coloplast France

The interface between the 3 systems existing for subsidiary France was studied for Upgrade and Maintenance of existing system. The 3 system existed were:-
