Dear Hiring Partner:
I am interested in learning of a possible position in your firm. I initially obtained employment in the field of law when I earned my Associates of Science degree as a Paralegal and was certified as such in 1991. I have been working primarily specializing in Plaintiff Personal law (with extensive experience in both pre-litigation and litigation) and Commercial Litigation since that time.
I have been doing freelance work and taking temporary positions occasionally over the past couple of years. My husband and I decided it worked out best for us for me to do work at home by providing freelance paralegal services until our youngest son started kindergarten.
Over the course of my career, I have had extensive interaction with clients by way of correspondence, telephonically, as well as personal contact. I have conducted initial client intake conferences, assisted clients with discovery completion, as well as discussed and/or answered any questions they may have had concerning their case. Furthermore, I have been responsible for handling cases from initial client contact all the way through trial in each and every aspect of the case. I have been responsible for obtaining and summarizing medical records, investigative reports, obtaining any and all insurance information (including Medicaid and Medicare), writing demand letters and putting together demand packages, obtaining experts as needed, as well as negotiating medical bills with providers when necessary at time of settlement. Additionally, I have diligently assisted in trial, hearing, mediation and deposition preparation. Accordingly, I feel my work experience coupled with my academic training will make me an asset to your firm. My salary requirements are in the range of $50,000.
Thank you for your anticipated consideration. Please feel free to contact me at the above-stated phone number. I look forward to meeting with you personally in the near future.
Very truly yours,
/s/
Rhonda A Beyer
