Design Engineer – Aft Fuselage design on the Scorpion program. Create 3D space models in Catia V6. Create 2D Drawings for details and Assy for release.

Create, Review and approve certification documents for FAA approval. (Pending) Attend meetings for weight concerns and implement ways of decreasing weight. Sept 2013- Jan 2016 Pratt & Whitney

Project Engineer/Manager – Management of Integration meetings and documents between the customer and supplier. Process and review qualification documents for the FAA. Check them for errors and assist the release to the FAA. Check outline drawings and approve them for release to the customer. Manage and witness safety of flight tests of components. Write reports and organize meetings for upcoming component testing. Manage shop shortages and problems that arise. Work shop DRDIs and manage them thru the release system. Assist engineering to find better solutions and improve design of problem areas of the engine and thrust reverser. Answer questions about status of files, drawings, and documents. Report status to the top level management at Pratt & Whitney and Gulfstream company.

Oct 2011- Feb 2013 Bombardier

-L85 Wing Lead. Headed up the transition of the L85 wing from Montreal to Wichita. Reviewing Request for Change (RFCs) and approving changes. Lead the weight savings activities along with initiating new concepts to save weight.

-L85 Tail Cone/Vertical Stabilizer Lead. Management request to lead the redesign of the Tailcone and V-stab. Introduced new concepts and weight savings. Provided shop support. Montreal coordination on design and shop issues. Redesign the delta to incorporate weight savings and a new design concept. Good working and coordination skills with Montreal and Mexico.

Feb 2011 – Oct 2011 Nordam Group Tulsa, OK

-G450 – Re-designed the spring actuator hook and updated drawings to reflect new design. Checked drawings for release.

-7Q7 (joint stars) - Updated drawings for the new engine. Coordinated and supported the shop as required. G650 – Created test panel drawing. Improved the main landing gear surface for new tooling. Jan 2008 – Jul 2010 Hawker Beechcraft

-Hawker 400XP: Airframe Manager. Responsibilities include design changes, production line support as well as field support to the Hawker 400XP (legacy).

-Hawker 450XP: Airframe Manager. Responsibilities include creating new layouts, drawings releasing them to the published master schedule. Also responsible for the re-mod and de-mod of the test article aircraft. Interface with outside vendors (i.e., Harlow Aircraft, Inc.; Pratt & Whitney; Nordam, Inc. out of Tulsa, OK). A340 CPD: Engineering Team Leader. Responsibilities included sustaining of all CPD as well as WV101. Investigation of WQNs / IQNs and writing MODS and revising drawings as required. Coordination with my Filton counterparts to ensure changes are accurate and on schedule. Other responsibilities include the release of the initial Digital Mock-Up (DMU). Travel to Filton to attend meetings and reviews as required. A380 PAX: Engineering Team Leader. Responsibilities included sustaining of the leading edge, trailing edge, panels and stringers and ribs. Investigation of WQNs / IQNs and up issued drawings as required. Maintain daily coordination with my Filton counterparts to ensure a quality product and schedule. A340 WV101 Program: Design Lead. Responsibilities included, teaching ICAD for design of the panels and stringers, leading 32 engineers in new design of all top and bottom panels and stringers. Maintain schedule, budget, and quality. Other responsibilities included filling in for the Engineering Team Leader (ETL) as required. Coordinated and established a good working relationship with the Filton Lead Team. Received Level 2 and Level 3 authority. Perform Design Visual Examinations (DVE) as required. A380 Program: Design Lead. Responsibilities included leading engineers, design of the Top Panel 5 and supporting structure, maintaining schedule, budget, and quality. Also supported design reviews in England as required. A380 Program: Designer of Top Panel 5. Initial design of Top Panel 5 and responsible for fit, form and function. Establishment of the ICAD program in the Wichita office. Aug 2000 – Jan 2002 Boeing Military Airplanes, Wichita, Kansas Airborne Laser Program. New design of Sta. 1000 Frame Support Structure for the 1000 Bulkhead. Design Wiring provisions for all Airborne Laser aircraft as well as support of shop installation activities. Other responsibilities include sub-lead for the floor structure and support of the 1000 Bulkhead structure. Nov 1998 – Aug 2000 Boeing Commercial Airplane Group, Wichita, Kansas 737-700 Convertible. New design of lower cargo door sill. Solid construction of machined and sheet metal parts and drawing creation. Other responsibilities include interface coordination and interference check, CAD verification and direct write.

Feb 1997- Nov 1998 Boeing Commercial Airplane Group, Wichita, Kansas 777 Design Sect. 41. Implementation of ATA to the 777 Cargo Floor and surrounding structure.
