BS, Chemical Engineering, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria, 2008

GPA: 4.1/5.0

Awards / Honors Engineering Merit Award, Texas A&M University-Kingsville, 2012

Experience Significant knowledge and experience in finite elements analysis and computational fluid

dynamics, reservoir modeling and simulation and development of numerical solutions to

multiphase fluid flow in porous/non porous media

West Virginia University, Morgantown, WV, 06/16 to present

NETL Postdoctoral Fellow Reservoir Engineering

Developing and running CFD reservoir simulators for multiphase hydrate production systems.

West Virginia University, Morgantown, WV, 08/12 to 05/16

Graduate Research Assistant

Built reservoir CFD simulation models to support short and long-term gas production tests from the

hydrate reservoirs of the Alaska North Slope. Assisted in the development of an in -house hydrate

reservoir simulator code (Mix3HRes) which is capable of modeling thermal decomp osition/formation of

hydrates in porous media under varying conditions of reservoir temperature and pressure. Developed and

coupled CFD multiphase wellbore models with reservoir models for flow assurance studies.

NETL, U.S. Department of Energy, Morgantown WV, 12/14 to 08/15

Professional Research Intern

Modeled and conducted flow simulations of hydrate reservoirs to support gas production test design and

predict test response on Alaska North Slope. Conducted advanced fluid flow studies of gas flow in porous

media and inside wellbore. Carried out an assessment of the extent of hydrate reservoir disturbance due

to depressurization under varying field-test scenarios. Characterized hydrate reservoirs by applying

geostatistical techniques in the development of 3D heterogeneous realizations of geo-cellular reservoir

models.

Technip (Genesis Oil & Gas), Houston, TX, 05/14 to 08/14

Flow Assurance and Operability Intern

Supported flow assurance and operability studies of subsea multiphase transpor t systems. Hydraulics

study, line sizing and design of inhibition systems for hydrate formation, scale formation and line

corrosion.

Projects include Chemical Injection Hydraulics Design of Lianzi Development Project for Chevron and

Hydrate Inhibitor Hydraulics Study Injection of Starfish Development Project for British Gas. Steady state

and transient analyses of initial and normal start-up operation in Lianzi Development for Chevron. Steady

state pigging analysis and slugging study carried out on Juniper Project for B ritish Petroleum.

Homble Energy Services, Lagos, Nigeria, 12/10 to 12/11

Process Engineer (Full Time)

Supported topside oil and gas processing facilities by carrying out detailed engineering and performing

process simulations with HYSYS, developed process flow diagrams, performed equipment sizing

calculations and ensured that designed equipment met ASME, ASTM, API & NACE standards.

Software Skills

Programming Languages: MATLAB and FORTRAN (highly proficient)

Computational Fluid Dynamics: ANSYS (familiar)

Process Design: HYSYS and ProMax (proficient)

Fluid Flow/Flow Assurance: PIPESIM and OLGA (highly proficient)

Leadership Positions

President, WVU Chess Club, 2013 to 2014

Men Leader, The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Morgantown WV, 2013 to present
