Facilitate the maintenance of company vehicles and ground support equipment (GSE) by providing oversight of

FedEx technicians and commercial garages. Manage a $4M operating budget, ensuring that fleet requirements

are met in a timely and efficient manner, and reflect the corporate standards.

Supervise a staff consisting of 20 Global Vehicle Technicians in 4 states. Review training requirements and

related programs, drive performance management, and enhance the team's performance through goal setting,

coaching, motivational encouragement and progressive disciplinary actions.

Coordinate vendor relations in order to support the needs of fleet operations. Plan schedules and work

assignments, as well as implement performance standards for technicians and vendors. Provide vendors and

technicians with work instructions of necessary repairs, ensuring that repairs are completed in time.

Evaluate the effectiveness of commercial garage services, implementing process improvements and

changes as required. Comply with Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) and Department of

Transportation (DOT) regulations, and audit the work performed on vehicles and GSE equipment.

Perform tests on vehicles and GSE equipment, and act as a liaison between vendors, field and hub

management, and vehicle administration on all paperwork related to vehicle maintenance. Inspect and accept

new vehicles/equipment, and arrange for the disposition of vehicles as applicable.

Review and approve invoices for maintenance services and supplies, and analyze trends and costs,

recommending necessary charges. Manage all management information systems data, monitoring warranty

stipulations and maintaining accurate records in accordance with corporate and regulatory requirements.

Managed a staff of 17 global vehicle technicians and 5 commercial garages in 3 states with a $3M annual
