My Prime Responsibilities are as follows
1. Oversee all die repair activities
2. Manage the ordering of extrusion dies and tooling
3. Communicate continuous improvement information to die maker
4. Train and promote cross training of Die Shop employees
5. Provide technical assistance to Extrusion leadership
6. Study and review the profile extrusion feasibility. Construct and modify accordingly to satisfy the customer as well as feasible for stable extrusion.
7. Ensuring all the dies are given in production according to daily computerised schedule of planning department.
8. Trials of new dies, analysing and correcting accordingly with the team of die correctors.
9. Studying the design and modifying it by studying the trials and production problems.
10. Coordinating between the planning department, extrusion and tooling department die shop.
11. Planning for nitriding for the dies passed in trials and re nitriding the production dies by checking after tons to get the maximum tonnage from a single die.
12. Suggesting the die manufactures to manufacture the dies by making changes in previous designs to minimise the failures.
13. Study the feasibility and develop the existing dies to multi cavities to improve upon the productivity and die life.
14. Develop or revise standard operational and working practices and observe workers to ensure compliance with standards
15. Implement continuous improvement activities
16. Support and maintain the established company Quality Management System
