Worked for C/A Design for 15 years worked as lead supervisor on night shift for 6 years. And as one of the lead Machinist would set up and run Chassis and Cold plates.

Training, trained CNC Operators on safe and efficient handling of machines. Gave verbal or written instructions on set up procedures.

Troubleshooting, adjusted controls or stopped machines and opened holding devices to correct problems. Would ask for technical support if needed on job or machine complications.

Production, consistently met production and schedule levels. Would edit speeds and feeds and implement new or better tooling to increase better job performance.

Machine Set Up Gave directions to other workers regarding machine set-up and use. would also if needed, coax, indicate, tram, edge-find, fixture, vices, or vac-fixtures needed for job. Used equipment to ensure quality production using tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, protractors and ring gages. Worked with managers to implement the company's policies and goals. Reviewed operations and conferred with technical or administrative staff to resolve production and processing problems. Set and monitored product standards, examining samples of raw products and processing tests, to ensure the quality of all finished products. Set up and operated production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures. Manual Machine operator/CNC Machinist/Supervisor Was hired right out of high school for entry level job in gun manufacturer (A.M.T) Started out on manual bridgeports manual horizontal drill presses also would assemble guns .and deburring. worked my way up to running CNC milling machines, and by 1980 i was running the CNC Milling dept. 12 Fadal vertical milling machines. 10 Bridgeport vertical milling machines

Statement

I will always be grateful for the opportunity that this company and the Machinists that worked for Arcadia Machine and Tool gave a young kid with no experience the chance to belong to a trade that I'm proud to be part of till this day.
