Group dedicated to film production and videography work at the University of Virginia.
There are mini film projects throughout the semesters and for the spring 2016 semester I am assisting with directing a project called Monotone.
WUVA Media Group, member: 2015 – Present
University student-run group operating through different media channels such as radio and online news.
Allows students access to broadcast journalism skills such as putting together video news packages, short video production, film editing software, and video and radio operation.
Sports, Period, Producer: 2015 – Present
WUVA sports show produced every Monday and Thursday reporting on national and collegiate sports news.
My duties include the logistics of where and when the filming would be done. We used the Canon XF300 Camcorder to film the show.
Cavalier Connections, Producer: 2015 – Present
WUVA news broadcasting show produced every Tuesday giving the latest news at the University of Virginia and around the Charlottesville community.
My duties were similar to the Sports, Period online show.

Introduction to Film: Summer 2014
Course introducing students to film techniques and theories mainly in American cinema outlining different genres such as the Western, Film Noir, and Musical film.

Course dedicated to focusing on theatre within Black Culture and how this also traced over into areas of film production as well.
Black Femininities and Masculinities in US Media: Spring 2016
Course included examination of film and television techniques surrounding Blacks in Film and Television.
