Champion of world class safety culture. Instituted daily Gemba walks for all staff members, focusing on housekeeping and behavioral safety observations. Led use of A3 problem-solving to find root cause of all risks and to develop sustainable action plans.

Reduced headcount by 20% while improving production output: improved throughput at bottleneck operations using Kaizens, standard work, SMED and other Lean Sigma methodologies to improve utilization. Labor efficiency improved from <200 LBS/Labor Hour to 250 LBS/Labor Hour.

Successfully led CapEx and Productivity Initiatives. Reduced conversion costs/LB by 6% contributing to productivity savings of $400,000+ per year.
