- I joined the SA Police in 1984 as I have a strong belief in justice. At first I was stationed in Soweto where I was a detective working in a strong team environment. In 1989 I moved to Port Shepstone and served in the South African Narcotics Bureau.
- During this time I often worked independently in undercover operations. Early during 2002 I was transferred to the Organized Crime Unit ( now The Hawks ). After 5 years I decided to change careers and pursue a career as Offshore Commercial diver. The choice was made both for my love of the sea as well as financial reasons.

- From 2008 until 2012 I worked as a construction diver in the offshore oil

The company I worked for then offered me a land based position in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, as Asset Superintendent. My duties were to set up a new warehouse, implement an inventory in order to track, update stock and asset movement. Implement a Planned Maintenance System. I was also responsible for logistics to and from offshore and ensuring that all edits and recertification of the dive spreads were carried out in accordance to IMCA D 018 and D 023. Ensuring all non-conformities were closed out within the time frame provided by the client. Oversee all lifting operations, mobilizing and de-mobilizing, ensuring HSE and company policies/procedures are adhered to, record keeping of all compliance documents, liaising with Marine Superintendent, Master of vessels, manufacturers and third party service providers.
- I am currently studying Supply chain and Logistics Management through the University of Cape Town. I decided to do this course due to my last four years work experience in this field and to gain more knowledge.
- My hobbies are hiking, canoeing, scuba diving, boating, cycling, reading and watching rugby. I love spending time with my family and two German Sheppard’s.
