RESEARCH & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Graduate Research & Teaching Assistant, Texas A&M University-Kingsville 08/2014 – 05/2016
Worked on prediction of internal micro-fracture using conventional, simple geometrical technique and fracture mechanics.
Designed an experiment on low permeable sandstone core samples (Frio Formation) to examined fracture pattern and Grain Geometry using petrographic thin section analysis for fracture initiation and prediction.
Developed a single fracture theory and method to predict the internal fractures and their properties, fracture growth, fracture orientation, and fracture propagation in core samples.
Taught undergraduate courses
Mentored undergraduate students’ research projects and laboratory experiment.
Organized field trip for undergraduate students. Course Designer for Petroleum Engineers, Log e IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd. 12/2010 – 11/2013
Solved case studies related to water coning gas, developed a solution gas drive model, solved formation damage, sand control, and directional drilling related problems.
Co-ordinated team to apply business strategies for project development. Intern, Larsen and Toubro Ltd. 02/2010 – 03/2010
Designed and constructed a platform with the help of American Petroleum Institute (API) fixed offshore platforms and working stress design particularly involving design of platform and comparison of API & International Standard Organization. (ISO) codes.
Prepared Comparison sheet of API and ISO code to design offshore platform. Intern, Oil India Ltd. 06/2009 - 07/2009
Interpreted different types of log on real time data to detect the oil, gas and water content in the reservoir. PUBLICATION AND PRESENTATION
