August’11 – Till date

Working as a Executive – production( API - MFG) with ‘M/s. Torrent Pharmaceutical Ltd., Ahmedabad (Manufacturer of API ) ISO 9001,ISO 18001,and ISO 14001 Company.

Reporting to Production Manager.

Responsibilities involved:

Experience of PLC and SCADA based API plant

Responsible for manufacturing products in plant, manpower handling, documentation related to cGMP,responsible for quality of product, production target achievement.

August’07 – August’11

Worked as a Executive – production( Pilot Plant) with ‘M/s. Dishman Pharmaceutical and Chemicals Ltd., Ahmedabad (Manufacturer of API, Drug Intermediates, and chemicals) ISO 9001,ISO 18001,and ISO 14001 Company.

Reporting to Production Manager.

Responsibilities involved:

Responsible for manufacturing productes in pilot plant in co-ordination with R&D department, manpower handling, documentation related to cGMP,responsible for quality of product, production target achievement.

June ’05 – August’07

Worked as a Shift Production Officer with ‘M/s. Alta Interchem Industries’, Ahmedabad (Manufacturer of Bulk Drug intermediates, and Dyes Intermediates) ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Company.

Reporting to Production Executive.

Responsibilities involved:

Responsible for quality of product.

Plant Expansion (Bulk Drug Intermediates) of total project cost of 4.0 Crore. Project includes selection of reactors (Glass Lined, S S Reactors) Centrifuges, and Dryers etc. eraction, commissioning of new plant machinery. Total project completed within only 4 months and routine productions started in the same plant

Experience of Bromination, Nitration, Diazotization, Atm. distillation, Vaccum Distillation, Centrifuging, and Drying, etc.

To monitor the process, purity and yield. Preventive and break down maintenance of Plant. Estimating and handling all production requirements and monitoring progress to achieve completion within time bound schedules for efficient production.

Production target achievement, production monitoring and man power handling, cost reduction, daily production planning, documentation for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

December ‘96 – June 98.

Joined as Assistant Plant Engineer with M/s Casil Health Products Ltd., Kadi, a Cadila Group of Company manufacturing and marketing sulfolane solvent used in refinery.

Responsibilities involved:

Routine production monitoring activities through D.C.S. system (Moore Controls).

Production target achievement, production monitoring and man power handling, cost reduction, monthly production planning and ISO 9002 documentation and implementation .

Experience of High Presure reaction,Centriuging,Crystalisation,Vaccum Ditillation,Sulphonation, and Hydrogination

To run the plant safely & smoothly and to achieve set production target.

Also responsible for Quality of final products and safe handling of Chemicals such as Hydrogen, Raney Nickel, Isopropenol and Butadiene etc.

June ‘95 - December ‘96

Employed as Trainee Engineer with M/s Tata Chemicals Ltd., Mithapur, a company manufacturing soda ash, cement and various heavy chemicals.

Responsibilities involved:

To work in shift for routine production monitoring in continuous process.

Manpower handling.

To co-ordinate with Electrical and Mechanical Department for Maintenance of the plant.

QUALIFICATION :

B.E. Chemical Engineering from L.D. College of Engineering, 1st class (63%), October 1994.

Diploma in small industries management from NMIMS, Mumbai in 2001.

Diploma in Export and Import management from Indian Merchant Chamber, Mumbai in 2001.
