P.F Changs- Torrance, CA

November 2008-March 2014

I started off as a host so I am comfortable answering phones, taking reservations, and greeting people. Moved up to working in take out. Handled my own cash drawer, took peoples orders over the phone, and made sure they had everything they needed for when guests arrived for their food. Moved on to working as a food runner/expo. I would organize guest’s food on the tray and run it out to them. As the expo i would assign each food runners their job and making sure the back of the house was kept clean. Finally I worked as a server so I am very experienced in taking peoples orders, and I'm familiar with different types of beers, cocktails, and wines.

iPic Theater- Westwood, CA

March 2014 -September 2015

iPic Theaters is a dine-in theater. While guests sat and watched the movie you'd have servers come and attend to you. I worked as a server so I’d go into the theater and take guests food order, drink orders, such as different beers, cocktails, and wines. I'd take their orders discreetly to not bother the other guests. I've worked as a breaker as well so id help other servers out before they took their breaks and then took care of their tables. I worked in the theaters lounge as a cocktail server, so while guests sat in the lounge and waited for the cinema to open I'd take their drink order or food order.
