This involves

Responsible for compounding process of entire tyre manufacturing unit of Apollo tyres.

Ability to modify, improve and optimize the compound properties as per end use.

Also Responsible for solving the technical problems related to Extrusion, Bead unit, calendaring process etc.

Technology activities related to manufacturing like specification implementation, control of non-conforming product/ process, disposition of non-conforming product/ components, corrective and preventive actions, efficiency improvement, process modification, etc in the areas under Compounding section.

System improvement studies based on analytical methods.

Familiar with Lab related activities of rubber mixing and raw material testing

Introduce changes for quality improvements in the operations in coordination with process managers.

Prepare control plans, FMEA, SOP & other guide cards to production departments

Undertaking projects on reduction of defect level and scrap in compounds, treads and fabrics.

Uphold quality plans and implement to high standards of excellence.
