Responsibilities:

Monitoring the mining parameters inscribed for the ground conditions.

Undertaking frequent practices of secondary grouting as described in the method statement and been witnessed with the client on site.

Worked with HERRENKNECHT SINGLE SHIELD EPB TBMS-924 and S-925 with VMT survey guidance System and the BEAM system.

Managing the Team, materials and checking their availability on regular basis.

Monitoring the primary grouting, cutter head intervention and the related report, managing the consumables and keeping track with production.

Preparating the Ring Defect crack mapping report and repairing works of the Major and minor crack on segments.

Preparation of all the reports of the production and reporting the same to the Project Manager and to the Client/PMC.

2.TunnelEngineer(TBM) in Delhi Metro Underground Tunnel Project, New Delhi.

Contract CC-23 “Design and Construction of Tunnel between HauzKhas station and Kalkaji Station by Shield TBM, Tunnel Near Chiraj Delhi &Kalkaji Stations and Underground Ramp beyond Kalkaji Station by Cut & Cover Method, Underground Metro Station at Panchsheel park, Chiraj Delhi, GK Enclave, Nehru Place &Kalkaji by Cut & Cover Method on Janakpuri West Botanical garden corridor of Delhi MRTS project of Phase III”.

Responsibilities:

Worked withHUBEI TIANDY HEAVY INDUSTRIES (THI) EPB TBM THI-14, THI-15, HERRENKNECHT SINGLE SHIELDEPB TBMS-883 and S-890 (Single and Double Articulation with Electric and hydraulic driven main motors respectively). The Diameter of the tunnel - 5.8 meters (ID).

Worked with Enzan Survey Guidance System and VMT Survey Guidance System respectively.

Monitoring activities such as preparation of Launching Shaft, Muck pits, fixing of Tunnel Eye Seal, fixing of cradles, casting of headwall and all preparatory works required in launching a machine.

Dismantling of Tunnel Eye Seal, Side supports, H- Beams, cradles and segmental temporary rings after Initial drive.

Monitoring the location of the bore wells and other geological particulars coming on the line of the Design Tunnel Alignment (DTA).

Undertaking activities such as Ring selection, mining, ring building to ensure that no steps and lips develop.

Supervision and monitoring of Ring building and coordination of TBM control with surveyor and TBM operator.

Monitoring of Backfill grout (Primary and Secondary).

Ensure all tunnel activities are carried out as per approved Method Statement, approved drawing and specifications pertaining to Quality & safety.

Preparation of shift reports and all tunnel related records and submission of the same to DMRC (Client).

Man Power Planning & Management.

Coordinating with upper managements and the client.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

Record Excavation of 626m in a monthamong the six TBM’s in Doha Gold line Metro.

Delegated a Shift Engineer (Tunnels) when the EPB TBM (S-883 and S-890) was under passing just below 4m from the bottom of the existing metro tunnel line (DMRC-Yellow Line) New Delhi, India.

Represented the College in a Technical Event (Cognizance-2012) at Indian Institute of Technology (I.I.T.) Roorkee, India.
