Title: To improve Thermal Efficiency of domestic LPG gas stove

Duration: 6 Months

Synopsis: We are undertaken live project in STOVEKRAFT INDIA LTD,

BANGALORE. The

efficiency of existing stove is in the range of 65 to

70%.As a product designer, our task was to suggest ideas, modifications in

existing design of burners in stove to improve thermal

efficiency at least up to 75%.We applied TRIZ

methodology to formulate problems and provided

various concepts.

Title: Design and development of walker to assist elderly people to climb

stairs

Team Size: 3

Duration: 6 Months

Synopsis: Another project in our final semester was to redesign the walker.

The current configuration of the walker works only in plain ground. Since

our intent was to help elderly people who has tough times to climb

stairs,

so we have remodified the walker with adjustable legs. We have

generated many ideas with the help of brainstorming, trigger word

techniques, synectic idea generation processes.
