Professional Experience

BNSF Logistics International Inc. Nov 2002 – Aug 2016

Freight Audit Accounts Specialist for BNSF Logistics International, Inc. in Flower Mound, Texas; Processed all aspects of foreign agent settlements for BNSFLI USA & Canada which includes but not limited to receiving, reviewing and entering into the system the vendor invoices for all our foreign vendors in both USD and foreign currencies, sending our monthly statements and resolving any issues in regards to processing the settlements. I also reviewed and approved the entries made by the A/P person for the demand checks twice daily. Foreign customer/agent collections for both BNSFLI and BNSF Canada. Setup the initial process for vendors and clients as well as check credit on EquiFax and Cortera, the final review for credit was decided by the Director of Intl Finance. Maintain the fixed assets for both BNSFLI and BNSF Canada. Review, audit and issue payments for CASS (air export airline payments) twice a month as well as doing vendor setup for both companies. I also support my supervisor, the Director of Intl Finance, during month end close by doing financial reports I’m solely responsible for processing on time. Also maintain and issue the keycards for all the BNSFLI locations. In the middle of my time with BNSFLI, I was also executive assistant for the President and Vice President and as such providing all necessary assistance in support of their jobs such as running financial reports for meetings, taking notes during their meetings, as well as helping to secure the necessary visas for overseas travel and generating the company budget for their discussion and review.

Generated the budget for KWE Global IT with a 3 year forecast and additional forecasts at 1 year, 6 months and 3 months, with continuous monitoring and adjustments based on current and past month actual versus projected budget totals in addition to providing management with monthly reports based on actual versus budget.
