Infosys Technologies provides software development and engineering support to client groups in Asia, Europe, Africa and North America. Finacle universal banking products, developed by Infosys, are designed to address the core banking, e-banking, treasury, wealth management and CRM requirements of retail, corporate and universal banks.

ICICI Bank, an Indian multinational bank and financial services company is the second largest bank in India. It offers a wide range of banking products and financial services to corporate and retail customers in 19 countries.

As a Technology Analyst, I was the onsite, single point of contact for all client customization requests from ICICI Bank for its international operations.

Managed the design and execution of projects that were directly released to the business.

Customized core banking software at ICICI bank for introducing new functionality for branch operations in 9 countries across Asia, Middle East, Europe and North America. Product customization includes design and implementation of custom solutions to meet client requirements, impact analysis on existing functionality for critical change requests and incorporating government regulatory changes to the product for the international client branches.

Interfaced with ICICI bank Product Maintenance and Customization teams and offsite Infosys team for joint projects.

Worked closely with the ICICI bank Maintenance Head (Chief Manager) for resolving change requests and issues that involved both product and customization solutions.

As Software Engineer, I worked in Core banking product (Finacle) development in versions 7x to 11.0. I have worked in development projects of various core banking modules such as TD accounts, SB/CC/OD accounts, General Ledgers, Transactions and Standing Instructions. I re-developed Alerts implementation in Finacle core.

System testing i.e. defects resolution across the modules of Accounts, Demand drafts, Interest Calculation, Transaction maintenance and Clearing system.

Supported SPE (Scalability and Performance Engineering) division for resolving data integrity issues.

Received the “Excellence in Project execution” award for outstanding contribution to the project “Finacle 10.1 Performance and Scalability Demonstration (PCFA1HPM) in Infosys.

Career Break

I took a break from my career from 2011-2014 when I moved to Basel, Switzerland with my husband as I did not have a Work Visa.

Interests & Activities

Learned Bharatnatyam (classical Indian dance form) for 12 years. Performed in various Bharatnatyam programs by Swaradha Institute of dance in Pune, India. Participated and helped in setting and organizing dance and music programs in school and college.
