Consulting Positions as Project manager 2010-2016

In charge of coordination and oversight of Wastewater design for local municipality, creating cost estimates, analysis, and scheduling using Microsoft project and primavera. Earthwork calculations, Pipe network analysis, storm water improvements, using Autodesk Civil 3D 2016. Prepared drainage studies, stormwater mitigation plan using HEC-1, and Flowmaster. Provided overall project design while directing the design staff.

Southern Nevada Health District Las Vegas, NV

Environmental Engineer 2008-2010

Attended project meetings with engineers from public sector, reviewed the hydraulic calculations of casino pool plans, and their site inspection. Used AutoCAD 2008 to verify adequate separations of the wet utilities of large subdivisions, and verified all SNHD’s requirements were met. (Budget cut)

Managed/Directed project meetings to coordinate updates with all design teams. Project design manager in charge of commercial/residential projects from inception through to construction completion. Assistant Project Manager Civil 1999-2004

Used Land Desktop 3.0 and Microstation 8.0, to design roadway alignments, widening, striping, grading, and cross-sections. Designed the rehabilitation of 40 miles of an old waterline system for Massachusetts Water Reclamation Authority, separation of combined sanitary sewer and storm drain infrastructure, underground storage tanks to retain rainfall from flooding streets. Wet utilities design for 400 sewer manholes, and five pumping/lift station facilities in Florida. Used ARC FM (GIS) to create a data base of wet utilities structures for the city of Cambridge MA.

Managed the design and building of a lab waste water treatment plant, the rerouting and segregating of lab waste vs. sanitary plumbing, asbestos abatement, repairs of leaking underground oil tanks and replacement with above ground tank or natural gas conversion for the town's school department. Analyzed the remaining capacity of the landfill by closely monitoring it’s everyday operations. Reviewed groundwater monitoring well reports, to determine the migration of contaminants and to take corrective action to protect the groundwater supply. Prepared RFP's, opened bids, reviewed, selected, and hired the lowest responsive bidders.

Environmental / Civil / Mechanical Engineer 1989-1992

Researched, and designed, PH monitoring stations for pretreatment of industrial waste prior to discharge to the municipal sewer system. Designed septage lagoons / leach pads for remote areas with no municipal infrastructure, jacking for underground fiber optic crossing, and natural gas conversion for public school. Interacted with clients, town and state officials, and attended Planning Board meetings. Designed floor plans for small and remote highway rest areas to large waste water treatment plants, assigning finish floor elevations trickling filters, activated sludge, and RBC "Rotating Biological Contactor" to use gravity flow. Designed roadways, utilities, parking lots, site developments, subdivision/community and private septic systems, conducted test pits and Percolation test, Surveyed field boundaries.
