Here at OMG I am responsible for all things molds: from build of new molds, to repair of damaged tools. I program in Mastercam X7,(CAD-CAM) and run all programs on an Okuma MX45 CNC 3 axis. Charmilles 400 EDM, Grinding, turning, cutting; this small shop has gotten really busy in the last three months. Production is up and down time on molds for repair is almost non existent. OMG has gone from losing money on new molds, to actually making money. Duties include but not limited to any and all things molds: tooling, programming, quoting, scheduling, cutting, grinding, turning, and assembly.

Training videos for the U.S. ARMY, Captured video and Sound on a DATAVISION 9000. 6 cameras and 4 mics. Edit videos on ADOBE Premiere. These videos are sent all over the world for training for the U.S. troops and Allies. I really enjoyed this job, it included a lot of travel. ( DICAP Fedarel LIC.)

Duties include mostly programming (Mastercam), building injection molds, blow molds, hammer dies, and vacuum molds. I schedule jobs to be run, (program them) and what order to run them, depending on dates. This is a job shop, we do so much more than what is listed. Grinding, turning, gun drill, waterjet, EDM. etc. Time is always short on the dates, but we always seem to make dates.

Video Room Manager

I spent two race seasons at Zia park. First season I ran tape machines. Eight recorders with multi point sets for replays. In the off season I learned to edit the races for c.d. sale and run the switch board. My second season at ZIA park I was the video room manager. I was responsible for the LIVE racing. I learned to produce, I put the eight cameras with the audio (announcer) learned to mix in the graphics(Deko). We had a LIVE broadcast. (horse racing). I do know a bit about broadcast satellite truck, have had to patch a Roberts Communication feed when we got hit by lightning during one of the biggest money days at Zia Park. Very fast paced, and I loved it. Do have knowledge of simulcast. I scheduled and programmed for TMS, director of simulcast. TMS is affiliated with Cable One and TVG(Total Video Gaming). Head office is out of Carlsbad California . Multi task was a must!

Here we build molds for rubbermaid,coleman,etc. ISO for aircraft. Ran a 3 axis CNC Okuma for more than 5 years. Programmed my own electrodes to run on the Charmillse EDM 3 years. Built a whole lot of tools (molds) on the way. Responsibilities • Manage all aspects of mold building.• Instruct employees on building of parts• Program all parts.• Make sure to meet deadlines.• I OWN ALL MY OWN TOOLS (Mics, callipers, indicators, tool box, etc.)

The reason I left was to go to Hobbs NM. My mother inlaw had ALS; we went there so my wife could take care of her before she passed.

We rebuilt engines. I started out as flywheel grinder, on a old, really old blanchard. I can run centerless grinder, o.d. grinder, i.d. grinder, blanchard and surface grinders, and most manual machines, mills,lathes, grinders, bore, line bore, etc.
