twenty two years in the United States Navy Machinist's Mate experience with maintenance management systems, main propulsion plants, stick welding, auxiliary equipment, high/ low pressure air compressors, air conditioner and refrigeration plans, pumps, valves repair, food equipment, transfers and inventory of lubricating oils, fuels, water and maintain accurate engineering logs.
Tests and troubleshoots malfunctioning machinery; installs, adjusts, and repairs production equipment, and special purpose
machines.
Operates a variety of hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts. Performs general repairs to plant structures.
Dismantle equipment to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools. Replaces and installs parts as per blueprints and tech manual instructions Lubricates and clean parts and equipment to ensure proper operation.
Demonstrates commitment to OSHA Safety guidelines while performing job duties in accordance to company safety policies and
procedures.

United States (Active Duty & Reserves), Machinists Mate 1998 to 2015 Works on main engine machinery and auxiliary equipment such as evaporators, salt water/fresh water pumps, air conditioner
plants, air compressors, water heaters, small boat repair, hydraulic and pneumatic system. Assists on ship's major overhaul of main space, pump rooms.
Qualified on all steam room and auxiliary space watch stations.
Maintained engineering logs, mentor and supervise junior members.
