Responsible to timely manage a litigation inventory in accordance with departmental protocols, determining the defensibility of claims in litigation with knowledge of applicable regulations and existing case law and to co-manage the defense with counsel through strategic decision making and where appropriate effectuating timely settlement and or resolution of claims in litigation.
