• Jayhawk Motorsports, Senior Design Project: 2015-2016 – Worked with chassis, power train, and suspension teams to design, test and manufacture a Formula Race car. Specialized in the Nosecone/Impact attenuator, and the shock cover. Designed the Impact attenuator and Shock cover in SolidWorks, used finite element analysis to analyze the impact attenuator to meet the needs of the client.

• Lead all the physical testing required by the FSAE board of judges as required by the 2016 FSAE ruleset. This included testing, post processing and writing up test reports.

• Researched and used FEA to create a theoretical method to improve the mechanical properties of Polymer Matrix Composites for an Energy methods class project. U.S. Army -

Basic Training, Airborne School, Raytheon TOW gunner school, Expert Infantry Badge for being above and beyond the normal Infantryman.

EDUCATION

• Worked on real, and training missions through military simulations via CBS computer program.

• This included future missions for deploying units, and training exercises for units in training

• Enthusiastically worked with retired military officers, and active duty military personal for joint missions, and coordinated these efforts as an OPFOR operator

• Trained and actively consulted retired and active duty personal on how to use CBS (Corps Battle Simulation) and the WARSIM military simulation programs.

• Duties also included traveling to military simulation exercises around the country as needed PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

● US Army - Paratrooper (1/325 AIR, 82nd Airborne Division)

• Conducted combat operations in Iraq as a .50 caliber machine gunner/team leader. Conducted raids, causality evacuation, recon missions, and log pack or resupply to all satellite combat outposts, as well as patrolling assigned areas in many different conditions to ensure peace during peace keeping operations.

• Maintained and fixed all required equipment for combat operations (machine guns, rifles, radios, night vision equipment).

• Multi-branch coordination missions with Airforce, Army, and Marines on several missions in Iraq.
