Home based national telemarketing or personal one on one client meetings in the Greater Chicagoland area. Desire limited travel. No interest in a management position.

Experience

Successful career as a field wholesaler/trainer of annuities and life insurance to “wire houses”, IBD’s, BGA’s, Banks, Credit Unions and P&C Agencies. Represented both life insurance companies and IMO’s.

Products included fixed annuities, VA, Mutual Funds, VUL, UL, Term Insurance, FIA’s and IUL.

[NOTE] – Mentioned for marketing and sales concepts in the first equity indexed agent training book, published by The National Underwriter, entitled, “ Equity Indexed Annuities”, authored by Edward Horwitz, professor of insurance at Creighton University.

Won national “Top Wholesaler” awards for sales production for 5 separate IMO’s or Life Insurance Companies.

In 2008 I switched careers to retail sales of annuities, life insurance, LTC and MOST recently focusing on the Senior Market with Medicare Supplement products as an independent producing agent with appointments to 20+ companies.

Retail sales of annuities, life insurance, LTC and Medicare Supplements to the Senior Market. Working pre-set appointments, client needs based presentations, closing sales, completing paper or E-Apps applications, following underwriting and delivering policies and generating referrals. Working local client fairs and community meeting and conducting small educational seminar presentations.

Life Source – Division of CRUMP Insurance – Charlotte, NC

Field Wholesaler of annuities, life insurance and LTC to BGA’s, IBD’s, and P&C Agencies. Marketing area was Northern Illinois. Worked “A”, “B” and “C” reps and agents. Became a “Life Insurance Specialist” for all reps who did not want to do the life insurance process with their client base. I did the interviews, conducted the Q & A, created the illustrations, made the presentations, closed the sale, wrote the apps, ordered the APS, worked with underwriting, delivered the policy and split commissions with the agent. Interfaced with client business owners, their CPA’s and attorneys on business insurance needs and high net worth clients for estate solutions.

Won top 5 national wholesaler in 2007. Division closed in 2008.

The Hartford Life Insurance Company

Field Wholesaler of VUL products to IBD registered reps in Illinois and Indiana. Conducted training in VUL and acted as the “Life Insurance Specialist” for the reps with their clients, including client suitability. Duplicated the same process described with Life Source/CRUMP and split commissions.

Won national top wholesaler in the IBD division with annual premium sales of over $5 million.

Division closed in 2003.

Talbot Financial – Division of SAFECO – Midwest Regi

One of the first Equity Indexed Annuity Wholesaler/Trainers in the U.S. Primary distribution was BGA’s and insurance agents in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and Michigan. Conducted over 200 CE/Sales Training seminars for agents and 50+ client seminars in 6 years. Grew territory for $0 sales to $8 million per month in 1 year.

Led all wholesalers in U.S. 3 years running. The entire division closed in early 2000.
