2015 to 2016 – Project Manager – Responsible for the Safe completion of Two (2) FDOT construction projects within the established budget. Crestwood Blvd., and RV Storage Lot Facility.

Next Era Energy

2011 to 2015 – Lead Professional Construction – Estimating, Change Order Negotiations and Construction Management on Wind Turbine Energy Projects. Developed all 2010 Wind Farm Schedule of Values, Instrumental in implementing 16’ and 20’ wind farm access roadway cost reductions, Assisted with initial Order of Magnitude Estimates. SOUTH FLORIDA WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT

2005 to 2011 – Principal Estimator. Responsible for preparation and/or coordination of all cost estimates for Design, Construction, Construction Management and Program Management for $1.5 Billion Acceler8 Construction Program and the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Program (CERP) valued at $7.8 Billion Dollars.

1997 to 2005 – Lead Engineer. Responsible for preparation and/or coordination of all cost estimates for Design, Construction, Construction Management and Program Management for 600 million Everglades Construction Project (ECP) and the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Program (CERP) valued at $7.8 Billion Dollars.

GRANITE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC.

1996 to 1997 – Structural Superintendent. Responsible for all concrete construction on $80 million I-4 Road Widening Project in Lakeland / Plant City, Florida. Project consisted of 18 bridges, +/- 300,000 SF of reinforced concrete earth wall and 3 large box culverts. Responsible for coordinating all construction activities, cost control and estimating within my scope of work.

PRESSURE CONCRETE, INC.

1995 to 1996 – Southeast General Manager – Responsible for sales, estimating and general construction activities in the Southeast U. S. Offices located in Atlanta, Nashville, West Palm Beach, Florence, Al.

THE HARDAWAY COMPANY

1993 to 1995 – Project Manager on $3 million Skyway Fishing Pier Project, $.5 million RipRap Project and $4 million Cast-In-place Post Tension Concrete Box Girder Bridge I-275 Tampa, Florida.

METRIC CONSTRUCTORS, INC. / J.A. JONES CONSTRUCTION COMPANY

1991 to 1992 – Project Manager on $7 million Jacksonville Revitalization Project for F.D.O.T. Project consisted of 67,000 SY of milling, 85,000 SY of paving, 27,000 SY of sidewalk, 19,000 LF of curb & gutter and 96 drainage structures. Responsible for all aspects of the Project Construction and Financial Management.

1990 to 1991 – Project Manager on two $5 million Projects. Jacksonville Port Authority Access Roadway and Wharf Extension, consisting of 1.2 miles of 6 lane highway, 5,976 LF concrete pile and wharf construction.

1989 to 1990 – Assistant Project Manager on $5 million Orlando / Orange County Expressway in Orlando, Florida, consisting of 1.8 miles of 6 lane highway, 600 LF of bulkhead, one concrete bridge and one super-elevated steel girder bridge.

1986 to 1989 – Project Engineer on $4 million Flood Control Structure, Belle Glade, Florida, consisting of the retrofitting of a swing gate to a three bay vertical lift gate and spillway for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Responsible for surveying, cost control, change orders and owner negotiation / correspondence.

1984 to 1986 –Project Engineer on $5 million Marine Maintenance Facility for the North Carolina D.O.T., consisting of steel pipe and sheet piling, concrete pilings, concrete and installation of 500 TN Syncrolift Ship Lift. Responsible for scheduling, survey, subcontract awards, monitoring / preparation of pay estimates and Project Financial Status Reporting.

1984 – Office Engineer on $2 million Heavy Foundation Package for Dupont Electronic in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. Job duties similar to above.

1981 to 1984 – Cost / Scheduling Engineer – Corporate Headquarters, Charlotte, North Carolina. Office Engineer for U.S. Army of Engineers Jetty and Inlet Project, Little River South Carolina.
